Angus Driver
BA, BPHE, BHSC(PT), Dip. Manip.PT, FCAMT, CGIMS

Angus is a highly skilled manual therapist, with success treating a wide variety of clients, including professional atheles, national-level amateur athletes, competitive dancers, gymnasts as well as weekend warriors. Angus is also an instructor in the Orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Angus has been treating in private practice since 1997. He treats spinal disorders of an acute and chronic nature. He uses many techniques, including spinal manipulation, spinal stabilization exercises, neural tissue mobilization, acupuncture and intra muscular stimulation. Angus also is skilled in treating sport-specific injuries, including complex shoulder problems.

Angus' treatment philosophy involves using manual therapy techniques to restore joint or tissue mobility and then applying specific, focused exercise techniques to restore function and prevent injury reoccurrence.

Carl Gayle
BA Kin, BSc(PT), Dip. Manip.PT, FCAMT, CGIMS

Carl graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc in Physiotherapy and a BA in Kinesiology. At the post-graduate level he has earned a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 2000.

Carl has been in private practice since 1999, treating primarily in orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation. He has volunteered his skills at both the PanAm Games and the World Track and Field games, treating many of the participants in these events.

In addition to amateur athletes, Carl has experience in treating acrobatic circus performers, long-distance runners and weekend warriors alike. Carl utilizes joint mobilizations, joint manipulations, exercise therapy, acupuncture, IMS and neural mobilization techniques in treating an assortment of spinal dysfunction and upper and lower extremity injuries.

Carl is an Instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in postgraduate manual and manipulative therapy education.

Kate Gladney
BPE, BHSc(PT), Dip. Manip.PT, FCAMT

Kate is a graduate of McMaster University where she received degrees in both Physiotherapy and Physical Education. She also has a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Kate has treated patients in private practice since 1997. Her main focus is the rehabilitation of spinal dysfunction using manual techniques, spinal stabilization and Pilate's exercises. Kate also specializes in treating complex shoulder problems, including post-operative rehabilitation. She has also spent several years working with national team amateur athletes, distance runners, gymnasts and dancers. Kate also has training in acupuncture.

Kate is an Instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in postgraduate manual and manipulative therapy education. She also is the Examination Chair for the National Orthopaedic Division.

Angela Growse
B.Sc, B.Ed., M.Sc.PT, Dip. Manip.PT, FCAMT

Angela has been in practice since 2003 and has expertise orthopedics and sports injury with a background in complex rehabilitation following trauma, amputation or burns. Her clients cover a wide spectrum including teenage athletes, cyclists, yogis, weekend warriors and desk jockeys alike.

Angela's treatment philosophy involves thoroughly educating clients about their condition, and employing specific manual therapy and neural mobilization techniques with exercise therapy to facilitate full functional recovery and independence. She is skilled in the treatment of spinal dysfunction with therapeutic options including spinal manipulation, core stability training and acupuncture. She enjoys helping clients to maximize their participation in life, work, and leisure pursuits.

Angela's education credentials include a B.Sc (University of Toronto), a B.Ed (University of Western Ontario), and a MSc in Physiotherapy (McMaster). At the post-graduate level she has earned a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 2009.  Angela also has completed her Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Certificate from McMaster University.

Claire Mcglynn
BHSc, BSc(PT)

Claire received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queens University.

Claire has been working in private practice since 2002, and in that time has successfully treated a wide variety of clients, from the competitive athlete to the weekend warrior.

Using a combination of education,  manual therapy, specific strength training and core conditioning, Claire works closely with her clients to develop effective treatment plans that are specific to their goals. She has a keen interest in yoga, Pilates, and ultimate frisbee and is working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Lisa Regan
BA.KIN, MScPT,CAT(C)

Lisa Regan has an Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy from York University and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. 

Lisa has been working in private practice since 2005.  Lisa has experience treating patients with work related injuries, car accidents, chronic pain and sport injuries.    Lisa’s athletic therapy experience is extensive having worked with various high school, university, provincial and national level athletes. 

Lisa has completed the McKenzie levels A and B, Active Release Techniques (ART) and a Certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.  Lisa is currently working towards her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy and the ART Certification. 

Lisa is very active and is an avid runner and triathlete.  She has completed two marathons, numerous running races and triathlons.  In 2007, Lisa completed Ironman USA in Lake Placid and was a member of the Canadian National Triathalon Team in 2008.

Nancy Brooks
RMT, BMusA, Art.Dip.

Nancy is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from Sutherland-Chan Schools Inc. in 2000. Nancy has also completed post-graduate course work specializing in injury prevention and intervention for musicians and performing artists.

Nancy is also a freelance musician. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Performance from The University of Western Ontario and an Artist Diploma in French Horn from The Royal Conservatory of Music.

Jean Wong
RMT, M.Sc.

Jean has been a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2000.  She is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School. 
 
Jean has taken post-graduate courses in somatotherapy, cranial techniques and muscle energy.   Her treatment principle is to help restore soft tissue mobility and function.  This incorporates a variety of soft tissue, joint and fascial mobilization techniques.  She also has training in Athletic Therapy.

Jean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from York University and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana State University.

Our Personal Trainer/Holistic Lifestyle Coach

Dax Wilcox

Dax is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise, C.H.E.K Exercise Coach and C.H.E.K. Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2. His goal is to guide his clients on the best path to optimal health, function and performance through a holistic model of exercise and lifestyle management.

Through his eight years experience as a Coach, Dax believes the road to success consists of clear objectives and a multidisciplinary approach, focusing specifically on stress management, proper nutrition, therapeutic exercise, and current lifestyle factors. To ensure success each program is individualized based on the client's unique challenges, conditions and goals.

Dax specializes in nutrition and lifestyle coaching, individualized exercise programs, and goal setting strategies. He is currently working towards his C.H.E.K. Level 1, Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach Level 3.

Our Nutritionist

Kyle Byron

Kyle is a nutritionist with an honours degree in Nutrition from St.Francis Xavier University. Graduating as one of the top students in the nation, he was selected to participate in graduate placements in inpatient care, sports performance, weight loss and childhood obesity. He has been consulting since 2006.

He works with every day people and elite athletes, teaching them what to eat, when, how much, and how to fit nutrition into their life.  His understanding of people – and the strategies they need to make real change – sets him apart. Kyle prides himself on showing clients how easy it can be to make that change.

In addition to his academic and practical experience, Kyle also “walks the walk.” He is certified as a personal trainer, has captained numerous rugby and football teams, trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has competed in triathlons. Courtney Silverson
Assistant Office Manager

Courtney has several years of customer service experience. She has a very social and upbeat personality and enjoys interacting with people.

Courtney graduated from Humber College in 2005 with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

She has a love for soccer and has participated in soccer as a player and coach for many years.
